Can you believe that it took contest prepping for me to truly learn and grasp the importance of fresh vegetables in my diet???? I know it’s crazy, but I finally GOT IT! We have started buying fresh vegetables and adding them to our foods like MAD! We FILL up our foods with our veggies. My 6 egg white egg omlette in the morning – a few onions, TONS of chopped peppers and TONS of spinach. Salt & Pepper….fabulous! My tuna – a few onions, TONS of celery, some mustard….AMAZING!!! I can’t wait until I can add some more vegetables and fruits to my diet after the contest….the ones that are too high in sugar to eat right now (carrots, sweet peas, fruits, etc.). It’s quite ...

My new ride!!!! I got the Trek 7.2 FX and I LOVE IT!!! I’ve ridden for at least an hour a day since the day we brought it home. I am enjoying my cardio… finally! Between my bike and some of the classes on base I’m having a blast with my cardio!!! Toby is loving it too b/c now instead of just rollerblading him I can take him on a bike ride too! He’s having a blast! I may get into road biking one day, but for now this is all I need. It’s comfortable. It’s smooth. It’s a GREAT time and GREAT way to get my cardio in (and my dog’s cardio).
