Why to pay for edits! | Warrensburg MO Custom Photography

I took this photo this morning and thought it was a great example to showcase why I only give and show edited photos to clients. I prefer photography to artwork. I prefer to see my life, family, friends and memories on my walls….vs artwork that I purchased. If I show you an image online or sell you an image on a CD or a print, it should be a good enough image to blow up and hang on your wall. That is not just about taking a good photo. I don’t want every scratch or blemish on my face to be visible when I blow up the image! Of course the SOOC (straight out of camera) image is nice too, but to me, it’s not ...

It was such a pleasure spending a few hours with my beautiful friends on Sunday! I couldn’t wait to share some of the beautiful images from our session….even though I still have more editing to do and many more images to come! I couldn’t believe all the smiles we captured of Baby M for his 6 month photo shoot! He was so happy to smile for his mom and dad! I’ll share more soon….. If this was my handsome guy, I’d print these each individually and hang them on a wall in my house. In fact, I plan on doing a photo shoot with my FITbaby for our house!!! Thanks Baby M for being my inspiration!

I took the plunge….only because of a few persistent friends who kept bugging me to try it! You never know unless you try, right? So, I did it. My first “professional” shoot. It was fun! I really enjoyed it! I’m going to keep it up and see if I keep enjoying it. And, what great subjects!! Look at those smiles! This is one happy girl!!! Happy 6 month birthday, Baby L!
