It was such a pleasure spending a few hours with my beautiful friends on Sunday! I couldn’t wait to share some of the beautiful images from our session….even though I still have more editing to do and many more images to come! I couldn’t believe all the smiles we captured of Baby M for his 6 month photo shoot! He was so happy to smile for his mom and dad! I’ll share more soon….. If this was my handsome guy, I’d print these each individually and hang them on a wall in my house. In fact, I plan on doing a photo shoot with my FITbaby for our house!!! Thanks Baby M for being my inspiration!

I took the plunge….only because of a few persistent friends who kept bugging me to try it! You never know unless you try, right? So, I did it. My first “professional” shoot. It was fun! I really enjoyed it! I’m going to keep it up and see if I keep enjoying it. And, what great subjects!! Look at those smiles! This is one happy girl!!! Happy 6 month birthday, Baby L! Even the dog, Lacey, is photogenic!!! What are your favorite photography resources you can share? (Also, I did take my Project 12 pics, just haven’t blogged them yet!)

So…I’m seriously considering making a business out of photography!! :O Phew. I said it. Scary. We moved this summer and since I’ve entered this community I’ve realized there is a market for a great family photographer here. I’ve been asked to do shoots for my friends…tons of friends and I keep turning them down. I get stunned looks. Truth is…I love it. I love photography. I love photographing my kiddo. BUT, am I ready to go into business? It’s scary! What pressure! But, in life, I think it’s good to leave your comfort zone. And this definitely is out of my comfort zone! So, did you notice the change to the blog? Subtle. Yes. Better. Yes. Awesome. Yes. I needed a bit of a change. I often feel that way. Just a little tweek here or there. Just a new pillow cover. A different angle. A minor change sometimes makes a huge difference. I was really bugged by a few things on the old blog layout and now…they’re gone! I love it!
