Class Action North Country

January 9, 2010 in books,inspiration,women

Yeah yeah, I’m supposed to be working on my Masters Paper today but I’m writing it on hostile work environment sexual harassment cases and I pulled out the book “Class Action: The Story of Lois Jenson and the Landmark Case That Changed Sexual Harassment Law” and thought I’d be sure to let you all know what a GREAT read it is!

Above is the movie poster from the movie that was written based on the same book.  I, personally, liked the book better, but then I always do (except for The Notebook…sorry Nicholas Sparks).  The book was assigned reading in one of my Political Science classes….still love ya Prof. Sterett!!  I couldn’t put the book down.  The book is a quick read and it’s SO interesting. And, to know it’s true and that she worked hard for all of us to have a pleasant place to work is the coolest thing while reading it!
