This book is GREAT! It gives a lot of pointers for women who are afraid to lift heavy. It explains the benefits to lifting weights and shows you how to do it if you don’t know (though I recommend getting a personal trainer for a few weeks/months to learn -that’s how I learned). Mainly, it tells you how what you have been doing may have been a total and utter waste of time!!! Even me, who thinks I lift pretty heavy for a chick can push it a little more…you never know if you can lift more unless you try.
