Without showing her “parts” on the internet I’ll just tell ya, it was pretty obvious! πŸ™‚ There’s always a chance and we have a boy name picked out in case [boy names were easy] but we are sure we saw the right anatomy!

Some fun baby pics….I can’t wait!!!!

What’s the best about having a GIRL? or having a GIRL FIRST?

What are you or were you excited about having a GIRL or having a GIRL FIRST?

Do you feel like people feel sorry for you for having a girl first?! What’s the big deal?!

We have a healthy baby girl coming and I can’t wait!!! Β  She’s our gift from God and I won’t be disappointed for a second!!

Sandi - I love my girl!!! She has daddy wrapped around her little finger, gets anything she wants, and has her big brother’s friends already showering her with gifts! I’m so excited for you!!!

tori - We can’t wait! So excited. The hubs is scared about her hitting preteen years already!!

Heidi - Hubs scared already…lol Mine was the same way, before we even walked out of the u/s he whispered in my ear, “Gotta go buy a shot gun now!” What is with men!?! Wait till you see your Hubby holding his sweet baby girl, you won’t think its possible but you will fall even more in love with him! Congratulations!

Amber Wilson - Congrats! We just had a baby girl 3 weeks ago. She’s so sweet, I was happy to have a little girl first. My husband is in love with his baby girl, neither one of us cared what we were having…just healthy πŸ™‚ I’m so happy for you! Get your rest now…motherhood is exhausting!

Christin@purplebirdblog - Congratulations, Tori! I loved looking at all of your photos! For what it’s worth, I always guess boy. πŸ˜‰

Audra - I always guess boy, too. Probably because that’s what I had first, and Aidan is such a sweet big brother. πŸ™‚ Girls are fun, but get ready for some drama!

tori - @ Christine – that’s awesome!
@ Heidi – hub scared to death! I thought he was going to pass out from fear when we saw the pic!! πŸ™‚ I’M SO EXCITED!!!!
@ Amber – can’t wait!!

Cindy - Congrats! Your so lucky! I wish I could have a girl! Bows, clothes, shoes, seeing her get married, having babies and just being close with her. I know I will be close with my boys, but the maternal mother is always closer then the MIL. I always think about that stuff and hope I can be close to my future DILs.
Congrats and no matter what, you are going to be a great mother! She will be one lucky little girl!

Leanna - Congrats! A little jealous! U r going to have so much! And between u and Charlie, she is going to be soooo cute!

Jessica - YEA!! I absolutly love my girls. Don’t get me wrong I love my new little man but I love all the girlie things I get to do with my girls. I am sure as he gets older he will get stuck doing those girly things along with us but the girls actually enjoy it. When I found out I was having a girl first I was kind of sad but i wouldn’t have it any other way. Boy or girl once you hold your baby for the first time NOTHING else matters!!

Lynley - I love being right!LOL Well you know I had a girl first, and I was scared to death to have a girl! I was raised by my daddy, and 2 brothers, so I’m more tom boy, than girly girl, and was scared to death of having one! Thankfully she is a good mix of girly and tom boy. She has her daddy wrapped around her little finger, and we have hit the “attitude” phase, but she will always be my baby girl.

tori - @ Cindy – just hope your boys pick a girl that hates her mother! ahahaha! I have a GREAT friend who is WAY closer to her MIL than her own mother. So, it may happen! And, I definitely think about all that but it’s scary! What if she hates me?! hahaha
@ Leanna – I’ll be a little jealous of you if we get 3 girls! ha! πŸ™‚ And, THANK YOU!!!
@ Jessica – that sounds perfect!
@ Lynley – you were right!!! I need more details on this attitude phase! when does it start and end…oh maybe never..start? ahaha! And, how bad is it? πŸ™‚

Renee Booe - I am a first born girl. Nothing wrong with having girls first. Your sweet girl will have a special place in your heart for a reason. So important to raise strong, independent young women who love who they are. And who don’t believe the lies society feeds to them. You were meant to be this little girls mommy!!!

Lindsey - Ummmm, I guessed girl weeks ago! And she will be a beauty, just like her momma!

Daneta - Steve and I are so excited for you and Charlie!! I guessed girl because I can’t help myself at looking at the cute baby clothes and thinking of you.

Toronto Girl West - Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!

I love that you’re going to give birth to a best friend. At least that’s the way I see little girls – they grow up to be their mother’s friends.

There’s nothing more special! πŸ™‚

tori - Great perspective Renee…thank you!
Why a girl, LinZ? And thank you for your sweetness!
Daneta, you’re awesome! Thx! I was planning on our kids to marry so that will mean you’ll have to have another boy :-/
Toronto Girl, you’re the best!!! I LOVE that comment!!! Thank you! There’s so much I had not yet thought of!!

Kelly - YAY for a girl!!! So excited for you, my friend!!! Girls are SO much fun….you get to dress them in pink girly clothes, put bows in their hair, paint their nails, play babies & Barbies with them…..I absolutely ADORE my girls & wouldn’t trade them for anything. Audra was right though…get ready for some drama with girls….they love to whine & wrap their daddy around their lil’ finger. πŸ™‚ But there’s something about having a little girl…..it truly is PRICELESS. πŸ™‚

Courtney F - Oh yay! We are head over heels in love with our baby girl! She has her daddy completely wrapped around her finger! It’s amzing watching them together. Having a girl first has been great but I think having a boy would be equally great just different.

TheHealthyApron - Congratulations! That is SO super exciting!! I definitely hope to have a girl some day and your memories are so great! Thanks for sharing with us!

Amy - I guessed right!!!! A little secret, I’ve guess correctly on all but 2 of my friends/family children. I must have some weirdo sense of “guessing” what gender the baby is!
Your pictures are SO cute, and you’ll love having a girl. My niece has been so fun (she was born dec. 9). I can’t wait to paint her nails, go shopping & do fun girly things when she’s a big girl!
Congrats Tori! I bet it feels good to sing it from the rooftops!

tori - @ Kelly – excited for all that..I think πŸ™‚
@ Courtney F – Totally agree. Great. Different!
@ Healthy Apron – Thanks girl!
@ Amy – I don’t understand those of you who are such good guessers!! It’s sooo nice to be able to tell!! I hate keeping secrets. I’m an open person! πŸ™‚ It’s easier that way! I don’t have to worry what I’ll say!

Brooke Young - Don’t know a thing about girls Tori, BUT, I know that you and Charlie are so much fun and adventurous, she is a lucky little girl already to have two “fitparents” :D. Good luck in the rest of your pregnancy. Girls, boys, who cares! You guys will love every moment and that’s the best part. Besides, Toby was first! πŸ˜‰

Graze With Me - I’m so happy for you!!! I didn’t get a chance to vote before you announced it but I had a feeling it was a girl because you talked about being sick for a few months. I have a lot of friends having kids and it seems like the moms with girls are the sickest.

CONGRATULATIONS again!!

tori - Thanks Brooke! That’s so sweet!!! And, I love that perspective. Who cares! πŸ™‚
@ Graze – That’s a great thought and I’ll start paying attention to my friends now w/ sickness and if they have girls vs boys! πŸ™‚
